We should conserve as much water as possible while also developing new technologies. More efficient and effective water transport and new water storage capacity are critical to California’s agricultural economy.
We need additional dams to provide more water and more clean hydroelectric energy. CA has not built a dam in 40 years, which is inexcusable, while our population has more than doubled. Instead, in misguided efforts, they have begun dismantling water storage. There can be no new housing without more water.
The legislature refused to build dams with the 2014 Proposition 1, which set aside $7.5B. I will work to build water storage and put our resources to work for us.

Conserve water, build dams, and use and develop new technologies.
